Atelier Nine began with a shared belief that design has the power to shape the way we experience life.

As designers, we are fascinated by the relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit, how light influences mood, how materials evoke memory, how a room can bring people together, and how architecture quietly becomes part of our daily rituals.

Our work is driven by curiosity, observation, and a deep appreciation for craft. We are drawn to thoughtful solutions over grand gestures, to authenticity over trends, and to spaces that feel as though they could exist nowhere else.

01 Dialogue

Every project begins with listening. We seek to understand the people, aspirations, routines, challenges, and opportunities that will shape the space. Through conversations, site visits, and discovery sessions, we establish a shared vision and a strong foundation for the design process.

02 Discovery

We immerse ourselves in the context of the project, i.e., its site, climate, culture, surroundings, and constraints. This stage is about uncovering possibilities and identifying the unique qualities that can inform a meaningful design response.

03 Design

Ideas are translated into spatial concepts, material palettes, and experiential narratives. Through sketches, drawings, models, and visualizations, we explore solutions that balance functionality, aesthetics, and the character of the project.

04 Refinement

As the design evolves, every detail is carefully considered and resolved. Materials, proportions, lighting, finishes, and technical systems are coordinated to ensure clarity, coherence, and buildability.

05 Realization

Working closely with consultants, craftsmen, contractors, and project stakeholders, we oversee the transformation of ideas into reality. Our involvement continues throughout the execution process to ensure the integrity of the design is maintained.

06 Beyond Completion

We believe a project is truly complete only when it is inhabited. The most rewarding part of our work is seeing spaces become part of everyday life, hosting conversations, creating memories, and evolving with the people who use them.
